Finding the Right Therapist Matters.
Choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming.
Whether you’ve been in therapy before and are looking for a different approach, or you’re considering therapy for the first time, finding someone who feels like a good fit is important.
I created this page so you can get a sense of who I am and how I work, and decide whether this approach resonates with you.
My Perspective
Many people come to therapy believing something inside them needs to be fixed.
I see things differently.
I believe there is nothing fundamentally wrong with you. Many of the struggles people experience come from parts of themselves that learned how to protect and survive.
Over time, these protective patterns can begin to create anxiety, inner conflict, self-criticism, or emotional overwhelm.
But when we approach these parts with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment, something powerful begins to shift.
My Approach
My work is influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), a parts-based framework that recognizes we all have different inner parts that shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Rather than trying to silence or control these parts, our work focuses on understanding them.
As this happens, the internal struggle often softens and people begin to experience more clarity, self-trust, and emotional balance.
This Work May Be a Good Fit If You…
feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, or emotional overwhelm
notice a strong inner critic or constant self-doubt
feel like different parts of you want different things or pull you in different directions
are tired of fighting your thoughts and emotions
want to understand yourself more deeply rather than just manage symptoms
have done a lot of personal growth or therapy but still feel stuck in some of the same patterns
Moving Forward
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
If this approach resonates with you, schedule a consultation to see if
we’re a good fit to work together.
